Meet The Team

Brittney Tunilo, Phd, LPC, CSAM, CSOTP, TF-CBT, EMDR Trained
Owner of Unity Healing LLC
I believe that everyone makes decisions for a reason, and that nobody is born "bad". I chose forensic psychology because I believe that everyone should have a chance to heal, regardless of their past decisions. While I specialize in forensic counseling, I have extensive experience and training in other areas.

With a cognitive behavioral mindset, I challenge individuals to identify and dispute problematic mindsets, thoughts, and behaviors - down the core of where they are coming from.

-Certified Specialist in Anger Management (CSAM)
-Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP)
-Certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy Trained (EMDR)

Hello! I believe that every person deserves a safe place to be able to explore their triggers, build upon their skills to manage life stressors, and to heal. I utilize a unique approach tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. My goal is for us to have a collaborative relationship in which we remain present focused, strengths based, and solution focused.
Together we will explore stressors and thought patterns that are impacting daily functioning. Through a strengths-based & solution-focused lens, we will begin to develop coping strategies, thought reframing, & self-care strategies to cope with problematic symptoms.
I have experience working in family-based, school-based therapy, and multisystemic therapy. In these settings I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I look forward to meeting you and working together towards your goals.

Carly Dietz, LAPC, NCC
Hi everyone, my name is Carly. I’m a Nationally Certified Counselor working towards becoming licensed! I am currently taking new clients both virtually and in-person.
My counseling experience encompasses a range of work such as family-based, relationships, emotion regulation and behavioral. My counseling philosophy is that individuals are their own best resources for change. I like to allow space for growth and reflection during sessions, as I see that change occurs when individuals challenge themselves. I offer a warm, welcoming space, where clients are free to express themselves without judgment.
Kudos for taking the first step in your counseling journey! Your drive and determination are admirable and will serve you well as you begin to navigate your counseling experience!

David Wolf, MA, LPC, PCIT
I am starting my private practice journey with a wide range of knowledge and experiences in the mental health field. I started my clinical journey at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) of Waymart, PA as a mental health therapist. Working with inmates taught me that everyone has their own story; sometimes a story full of opportunity, and sometimes a story full of trauma and challenges. However, no matter the circumstances, I also learned that we can beat them.

After SCI, I continued my clinical journal as a mental health therapist with the Children's Service Center. My primary focus at the CSC is working with children and parents. I am working towards certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

I am currently studying for a Doctorate degree in Forensic Psychology, and actively working towards licensure as an LPC.

Megan Janes MA, NCC, LPC
Hello everyone, my name is Megan. I’m a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a passion for therapy as well as forensic psychology. I am currently taking on new clients in-person and will be working towards offering virtual appointments in the future.
I am starting my private practice journey with more than 20+ years in the mental health field. I have experience in foster care and adoption, alternative school placements, working with military members and their families, working with individuals who are incarcerated, and children as a school-based therapist.
I am firm believer that every person has the ability and strength to overcome any challenges that arise in life. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive space to work towards identifying challenges and solutions to achieve overall wellness.

Jessica Peters, MA, LSW

Hi, I’m Jessica—a Licensed Social Worker with a deep belief in the power of resilience, connection, and growth. I work with adults, children, families, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and social or relational challenges. My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in a strengths-based, person-centered perspective: I see people for who they are, not just what they’re struggling with.
I believe that healing starts by meeting people exactly where they are. From there, we work together to move toward where you want to be—one step at a time. I aim to bring humor, compassion, and authenticity into the room, helping clients feel both supported and genuinely understood. My goal is to help you heal, grow, and develop the tools to move through life with greater clarity and confidence.
Before entering private practice, I spent five years in the child welfare field—an experience that shaped my understanding of human behavior and the many ways people adapt, survive, and rebuild. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems theory to support clients in building insight, creating meaningful change, and deepening their connection with themselves and others.
I’m here to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to take the next steps forward—whatever they may be.
